Brief info
Chad Kotke is TU’s Michigan Stream Restoration Specialist. Chad develops restoration designs, permitting, and construction for road crossings, stream restoration needs, large wood placements, and wetland/floodplain interactions. Chad also assists staff with physical monitoring design, such as stream geomorphology and groundwater inputs. Chad has been in the stream restoration field for over 20 years with work in consulting (5 years), the State of Michigan (15 years), and Trout Unlimited (5 years). Chad is a graduate of MSU with a BS in Earth Science. Chad has lived and played in Michigan his entire life spending most of his summers as a child in the Copper Country of the Upper Peninsula and the cold waters of the western Lower Peninsula.
