This is a special program, and one dear to the hearts of our KVCTU members.  Damsels Fly is about more than learning the basic skills required to get started as a fly fisher.  It’s about the fellowship found on the water and in nature among women of all ages.  From gear selection and care, to knot tying, fly tying, and casting, this program brings together woman from all over the area to learn the art that is fly fishing, while building relationships that can last a lifetime.

Flygirls of Michigan – Fly Fishers International

Flygirls of Michigan, Inc. was founded in 1996 to provide fly fishing opportunities for women.
We are a 100% Fly Fishers International Club. Flygirls was born out of women’s growing interest in the sport of flyfishing and the FFI is interested in making it easier for women to become involved. We feel it is important to make a commitment to the resource by supporting and becoming a member of the FFI.

While we have a single gender purpose, we have an open membership and welcome any and all interested individuals.
