Thomas Mundt (Tom) is a retired businessman with over 50-years of experience in small, medium, and large multinational corporations. During his career he served in various senior management positions including corporate controller, vice presidents of finance, strategic planning, new business development, corporate communications, and investor relations. He earned a BA in accounting and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Illinois, Chicago. In the world of Trout Unlimited, Tom served as Michigan TU’s Council Chair from April 2021 until March 31, 2024, as well as heading the Council’s finance committee. Prior to that, he was the Council’s Vice Chair (2019/2021) and Development Committee Chair (2016/2019). At the chapter level, Tom continues as the Treasurer of Schrems West Michigan TU, a role he has had since 2012. Following his term as Council Chair, Tom will continue on as head of the Council’s finance committee.
