Chapter Assistance Committee Chair
Brief info

Jason Davis, a resident of Grand Blanc, has been a volunteer leader with Trout Unlimited for 14 years in several different capacities. First serving as the Vice President with the Clinton Valley Chapter and then moving onto the role of chapter President for 3 non-consecutive terms, Jason helped to improve the impact the chapter had on local trout streams such as Paint Creek and the Clinton River. While leading the Clinton Valley chapter he assisted in planning the chapter’s first Embrace-A-Stream projects on Paint Creek, hosted various successful fundraising banquets and helped the chapter develop a comprehensive strategic plan which continues to guide the chapter to success. During his volunteer career with Trout Unlimited Jason has served as the Secretary for Michigan Trout Unlimited and currently holds the position of Chapter Assistance Chairman. He has been a champion of the One TU motto and has been a consistent proponent for Michigan TU chapters to work together towards our common conservation goals.
Outside of Trout Unlimited Jason is a former staff member of the Clinton River Watershed Council and the store manager of Orvis Royal Oak. He has spent countless hours working towards improving the impact local anglers and river stewards can have on our coldwater fisheries. With a wife, son and daughter who have shared in the enjoyment of Michigan’s great outdoors Jason continues to work hard to preserve what we have for future generations to enjoy.
