Security Donation Instructions
Dear Potential Donor:
We maintain a relationship with Michigan Trout Unlimited for purposes of accommodating the receipt and sale of securities that have been donated to Michigan Trout Unlimited. The organization maintains a brokerage account with Fidelity Investments, with our firm serving as their advisor.
The following information is provided for purposes of making a donation of publicly-traded securities to the Michigan Trout Unlimited investment account:

Once the securities are received, Michigan Trout Unlimited will provide you with a written confirmation of the donation, demonstrating the name of the security, the date received, and the value of the gift given.
Mutual funds which are held at a brokerage firm or at a mutual fund company cannot be transferred via DTC. Please note that submitting a transfer request to DTC will result in the transfer being rejected and will delay the receipt of the gift. Please contact your advisor to arrange for these shares to be transferred based on the protocol and requirements of your specific investment management or brokerage firm.
Please be aware that mutual fund donations may take up to two weeks before the shares show in the Michigan Trout Unlimited account and not all mutual funds can be transferred based on their own requirements. As a result, you may have to select a different mutual fund for your donation.
