The Hulbert Rd Dam, located on the mainstem of the Au Sable River near Frederic, Michigan, is an earthen embankment with a concrete spillway, privately owned by the Kaiser Family. Although not regulated by the Dam Safety Act, the dam’s removal is supported by the landowners and has undergone preliminary feasibility assessments.
