Michigan Trout Unlimited is soliciting bids for the removal of a historic logging sluice dam on the East Branch of Big Creek near Grayling, MI. Attached is a PDF copy of the project manual, which contains the bid documents, specifications, and construction drawings. The agreement with the State Historic Preservation Office is also attached for reference. Please note there are strict boundaries for heavy equipment use and it is required an archeologist (hired by MITU) be on-site during all construction activities. Please note there is a mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting on Thursday, October 30th at 2 pm.
